Curran & Berger
Return to the list...
After designing Curran & Berger's new business system. They asked me if I had any interest redesiging their website. I accepted the job and got to work. The CB website is unique because it not only serves as advertising, but also provides a wealth of general information on immigration law.
The first goal was to provide better google search results. Next, the firm wanted an updated look for their site ayout. Finally, the new site had to be very easy to update and use for both users and the staff in charge of keeping the content fresh. Keeping that in mind, I created a very flexible design entirely based on CSS. Even the drop down navbar was created using only CSS animation. All the site content is google indexable text, and the layout is very aethetically pleasing as well. To allow any average user to update the site easily. I created a back-end site editor based on the TinyMCE WYSYWIG engine. TinyMCE is great because it looks and works just like Microsoft Word, so there is no learning curve. Finally, much of the content on the site is downloadable in the form of PDF documents. I created a system that allows staff to add PDF files to certain directories and have the site self-generate a description and entry on the correct webpage.
Overall, the firm has been very happy with their site. Check it out at curranberger.com.
